DJ DUBZ

I left the music scene when I left London to move down to the south coast to concentrate on building my professional career and family. Now I’m back on the music scene with a small DJ set up at home and back doing what I love doing and that’s playing genres such as UKG, old skool Hip Hop & R&B, Afrobeats, Reggae/Dancehall. My better half “Lady Cutz” also DJ’s and plays House & UKG.
I would say my musical influences as a child growing up going to the family weddings, christenings  and watching a cousin playing some heavy tunes getting everyone dancing…I wanted to be that person.
I began my broadcasting journey by joining a radio station which was run by my brother. I then left and joined ONEDANCERADIO where I Play UKG  every Saturday 12-2pm and the occasional cover show. Whilst being on ONEDANCE I have made friends with a few artists and producers such as our very own MIxboy Wonder, Mighty Mini and a few of the guys from Orange-in-All Records. I have been very lucky having a dubplate and some jingles made for me by “MC NEAT” as a gift from “Lady Cutz”.
I have done a few small gigs but would love to be part of a line up and play at big venues, clubs and maybe get to play on a mainstream Radio station.

The ultimate dream would be to play music for a living and travel the globe.
